House Rules

The Art Ghar welcomes you for a delightful and leisurely stay.

Our home is created with utmost love and care and we love it dearly.  We request you to respect the house & the rules.

1. To confirm the stay reservation, we require at least 50% advance which is non-refundable,

the remaining 50% could be cleared at the time of check in.

2. The check in time is 2:00PM and the checkout time is 11:00AM, early check in and late

checkout can be accommodated as per the availability at an additional charge.

 

3. The cancellation policy is 100% non-refundable. In special cases the option for rescheduling can be offered as per the availability.

 

4. Guests are required to submit a copy of their identity proof and fill the check in form with their personal information at the time of check in, for our records.

 

5. We don’t accomodate pets for the stay however we do have 3 residential dogs at the property. Please let the team know if you are not okay with dogs being around.

 

6. The last check in time is 8:00PM any check in beyond that can be accommodated with prior information to the team.

 

7. Outside food is prohibited inside the premises.

 

8. ⁠We serve fresh homemade breakfast to our in-house guests everyday from 8:00AM-10:00AM, any meal post 10AM is chargeable.

 

9. The in house cafe for locals operates from 11AM-8PM, Dinner menu is available till 10PM for the guests staying with us.

 

10. All meals served to the guests are made fresh at home and require at least 30 mins for the preparation. We would appreciate the patience with the same.

 

11. Our house is 100% vegetarian and so are our meals, non-veg is strictly restricted inside the premises.

 

12. We don’t serve food in the rooms.

 

13. Our house is 50 years old hence there is no sound proofing inside the rooms, the roads may get noisy in winters. The traffic tends to be quiet at night.

 

14. We follow the silent hours from 10:00 PM-7:30 AM, that’s also the window for our staff’s rest, we request you to maintain the decorum and avoid noise during the hours.

 

15. Loud music, consumption of alcohol/drugs is prohibited inside the premises.

 

16. We don’t encourage smoking inside the rooms & in common areas, the dedicated smoking area could be used for the same.

 

17. A common electric kettle is available at all times for the guests to make their own tea/coffee.

 

18. It’s a home run with love and care. We provide everything that ensures comfort, sustainable and slow living. Services & amenities like TV, in room kettle etc are not provided.

 

19. To ensure sustainability, the toiletries are kept in glass reusable bottles, dent tabs are available as the toothpaste alternative.

 

20. We provide daily room cleaning service on request; guests could request for the room cleaning as they step out.

 

21. We request all guests to ensure the electricity and water services are turned off when they’re not in use.

 

22. We do not have a designated space for parking inside the house, the road space outside the property is under the surveillance camera and can be used for the same.

 

23. We request the guests to take care of their belongings, we ensure the utmost security however we are not responsible for any loss or belongings.

 

24. The main gates are open till 10:00PM at night the guests could enter later than that with the help of the 24/7 security guard at the door.

 

25. The managing team is available on calls/messages from 11:00AM – 8:00PM. Home staff is available 7:30AM-10PM.

 

26. Any damage caused by the guests to the property or its belongings will be charged.
